Today, I decided to put my students' AI radar to the test by showcasing a video and sparking a debate on whether it was AI-generated or not. Out of a class of 13, 8 believed it was real, while the remaining 5 were convinced it was an AI creation. The fact that this became a debate is mind-boggling.
Just a year ago, we were dipping our toes into the world of AI with simple concepts like Will Smith eating noodles generated by AI, which frankly, didn't look too appealing. But now, we're witnessing the power of AI technology evolve exponentially. From drone videos crafted from a simple text prompt to Sora Ai's mind-blowing capabilities, the possibilities seem limitless.
