Below is my graphical representation, comparing teaching in the UK and teaching in the Middle East.
I don’t think I need to say much more. However, I would like to hear what you have to say.

❓ If you have not made the move yet, then why not?
I am intrigued by how many teachers are interested in moving to the Middle East and what is stopping them from doing so.
EDIT: I have just realised that I did not even take pensions into account in the UK. If you're paying into pensions, then your salary will once again be lower than what is on the graph.
